Respiratory treatment designed to fit your life.
AirNexis is developing AN01, a first of its kind dry powder inhaler for COPD. Its targeted mechanism of action relaxes the airways, improving airflow to the lungs, and cuts down inflammation.
COPD makes
breathing hard work.
COPD constricts and inflames the airways causing mucus production which leads to chronic shortness of breath and cough, limiting activities. New therapies have emerged but require complex delivery systems that are a challenge to fit into daily life. Breathing shouldn’t require such effort.

Established science,
reimagined delivery.
AN01 is an inhaled therapy in development for COPD. It works two ways at once — opening the airways and reducing inflammation that keeps them narrow.
That dual approach is already established, but AirNexis is focused on improving how it’s delivered. AN01 is being developed as a dry powder inhaler that is handheld, lightweight, requires no machine or outlet, and only takes a few seconds to use. It’s something you can keep in a pocket and use anywhere, rather than a routine you plan your day around.

Two problems. One inhaled therapy.
AN01 inhibits both PDE3 and PDE4— relaxing the airway muscles to improve airflow, and reducing the release of inflammatory proteins.
Inhaled delivery targets the lungs directly.

Growing evidence and a clear path forward
AN01 has been studied in more than 600 subjects across Phase 1, 2a, 2b, and 3 trials, through our partner Haisco Pharmaceutical Group and AirNexis. Haisco has launched multiple Phase 3 studies in China this year.
AN01 is also known as HSK39004. They are the same compound. Haisco developed HSK39004 and is advancing it in China. AirNexis holds development rights everywhere outside China.
AirNexis was founded in January 2026 and is led by an experienced team in drug development, backed by a syndicate of leading life-sciences investors.
